Fringe-Lipped Bat, Trachops, cirrhosis

The Fringe-Lipped Bat is a small flying mammal found from Southern Mexico to Bolivia and Southern Brazil. It gets it's name from the wart like bumps on it's lips and muzzle. This species of bat lives in hollow logs and caves near ponds and streams where it hunts insects, small amphibians, fish and lizards.
