A great talent gone far too soon. Peace to his family, friends and fans.

United We Stand - Downloadable Art!
I have many thoughts on the past week's events. As an artist, it's much easier for me to make a statement drawing than it is writing. It also means that I can create things that that might make someone's day a little brighter. So I made this illustration for you.
America is already great and we all know right from wrong. Feel free to download this artwork, share it or print it out. Print size for small posters at 12"x17.5 inches 300 DPI and low res 72DPI version for web.
March Forth!
It's been a bit quiet on the blog lately because I'm in the midst of finishing up some deadlines and starting new projects. I don't like to make "filler" posts just for the sake of posting something. As soon as I have clearance to post my latest assignments I will do that as well as the new promotional and personal work in which I am currently engrossed.
In other news, Happy Leap Year! (yesterday) and Happy March 1st today. In between studio time, I've been keeping busy and creatively inspired with running and hiking outdoors when weather allows, exploring near and far with Brian and trying to catch up with friends. Spring is almost here! We'll still have cold temps off and on - maybe even a bit of snow as winter starts to fade, but the longer days, warmer weather and new opportunities are right around the corner. So, March forth!
In the mean time, enjoy a few pix from my adventures "in the wild" this past January and February:
Blackstar - RIP David Bowie 1947-2016
What can I say? What a huge loss to the world. First Lemmy Kilmister and now David Bowie. I was shocked when I heard the news this morning - as was the rest of the world. Two great musicians gone not much more than two weeks apart.
As I did with Motorhead upon Lemmy's passing, today I listened to David Bowie's whole catalog of music and twelve hours and this illustrated tribute later the music is STILL playing. It is amazing, how prolific he was, how many songs were HITS.
Safe travels, Mr. Bowie, the world is a better place having had you in it.
Thank you.
Thank you 2015!
Every year I reflect back on the past 12 months and compare December to December. 2015 has been great and I'm thankful that I am able to work as an illustrator. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that I've had to work with so many wonderful people this past year. I'm proud of the work that has been done.
I have been thinking about and working on some new creative projects when I have had time in between assignments. I don't have a timeline because my schedule changes weekly but in the coming months I hope to be able to share some of this new work with you! I'm looking forward to 2016 and where this creative adventure road will take me.
Whatever you celebrate, however you celebrate, I wish you all a happy healthy winter holiday and a prosperous New Year. Lets grab 2016 by the horns and go for a ride!
