Michele Melcher is from Carversville, Pennsylvania, a few miles north from where George Washington crossed the Delaware to fight the British at the Battle of Trenton. A graduate of Philadelphia’s University of the Arts, she has spent the past 12 years working as a freelance illustrator specializing in editorial and advertising. Using her talent in different mediums, she fuels the creative flame in her free time by drawing, painting and participating in gallery shows.
“I have a lifelong interest in folklore, legends, natural science and the supernatural. Basically, anything odd that makes you think..that’s the stuff which sparks my imagination and seeps into my work.”
